About the Practice

Houston plastic surgeon Dr. Azita Madjidi is a board-certified plastic surgeon, a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Madjidi has a unique training and background. Her professional education and career are proof of her dedication to excellence in the performance of plastic surgery, both in adults and in children. Plastic Surgery was a natural choice for Dr. Madjidi because she was always interested in the face. Dr. Madjidi trained with Dr. Paul Tessier, the father of craniofacial surgery both in Paris and in the US.

In Paris in 1995, she started a thriving cosmetic surgery private practice and a busy public practice in affiliation with Laennec Hospital, St. Vincent-de-Paul Children’s Hospital, and the St. Joseph Foundation Hospital. In 1998, she moved to Houston, Texas and decided to continue to practice plastic surgery with high standards and a formal American training. She repeated the entire plastic surgery curriculum, including a microvascular fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, in the heart of the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Madjidi has authored numerous peer review articles and book chapters in French, British and American professional literature.
