He is also Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the George Washington School of Medicine and was named one of  “America’s Top Plastic Surgeons” by The Consumer’s Research Council of America in 2007.  A native of Austin, Texas, Dr. Salemy is a 1995 graduate of  Yale University, and a 1999 graduate of  The Yale University School of Medicine.  Dr. Salemy spent six years training in Seattle, Washington at the University of Washington School of Medicine residency program in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, one of America's finest plastic surgery training programs.
