Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.

I am 26 years old and have recently lost a fair amount of weight. As a result, I had saggy breasts. I have tried to tell myself it didn't matter but this past summer I didn't wear a bathing suite once without a bra underneath. Dressing sexy was not an option and ultimately I just felt like I spent so much time to be healthy and look good but it resulted in embarrassment. My weight loss was no longer something I was happy about. One day I decided to go for it. I just said, this is silly, I am going to do something about this. There is no reason to spend the rest of my life feeling this way. The next day I e-mailed 1800MySurgeon and a week later I had my consultation with Dr. Horne. I am so glad I did.

How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?

My family was very supportive. They knew that my breasts had been bothering me for quite some time. My husband definitely supported my decision. Ultimately, I didn't care, I knew this was what I wanted and that was all that mattered.

How did 1800MySurgeon help you through the process of finding a qualified plastic surgeon?

I knew I wanted to have the procedure done and wanted one of the best surgeons but had no clue where to start to find one. I submitted my request on line to 1800MySurgeon and the next day received a call and an e-mail. The patient coordinator from 1800MySurgeon was recommended Dr. Horne and I called to set up an appointment the next week.

Can you describe your surgery and recovery?

It was so easy and painless. I showed up at the surgery center, about 15 minutes later I was in my gown and the nurse came in to put in my IV. Usually I would say this is the worst part, even that didn't hurt. The nurses and anesthesiologist were so nice. I was then wheeled into the surgery room and that was the last I remember. The next thing I know I woke up and felt a little groggy but was OK enough to get dressed and walk out to the parking garage. The rest of the day I spent sleeping and really relaxed for the weekend. I back to work by Monday. I didn't even take any Vicodin they prescribed, just Tylenol. The stitches have been a bit itchy but overall I would say I have felt much worse pain in life!

What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?

I would say go for it. My saggy breasts were really a source of embarrassment for a long time and at 26 I didn't want to hide the body I worked so hard to get. The surgery is not cheap but I would say its well worth it. If you can afford it and you are really bothered by your body....go for it!

How do you feel about your result?

I am very happy with the results. I have no regrets. My breasts are the perkiest I can ever remember. My husband really loves the results! It has only been about 2 and a half weeks since the surgery but I have already bought new bathing suites.
