Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.

I originally had breast implant surgery in 1991. In October 2007, one of the implants ruptured. I didn't want to have them removed, so I decided to have a revision and replace of both implants. I also decided to go slightly larger, because as I aged they had started to sag somewhat.

How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?

My husband, who is the only one who really knows that I had this surgery, was very pleased with the decision.

How did 1800MySurgeon help you through the process of finding a qualified plastic surgeon?

1800mySurgeon was very helpful with finding a good plastic surgeon in my area. I was very pleased with how quickly and efficiently 1800mySurgeon handled my request.

Can you describe your surgery and recovery?

The surgery was very routine. I went in at about 8:00am and was ready to leave about 1:00pm. I took two days off from work and just took it easy. The pain was very manageable, and I didn't need all the medication that I was prescribed. I was up and back to work the following week.

What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?

If you are unhappy with your current implants, I would absolutely recommend you having the same procedure I did. It actually seemed easier this time than the first time. Just make sure to get a good surgeon with a good office and staff.

How do you feel about your result?

I am very pleased with the result of my surgery. I would not hesitate to do the same thing again if necessary. I think that they look and feel more natural than they did the first time.
