Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.
I had been considering having a breast lift for sometime. My ultimate decision was after I lost 60 pounds and at this point my breasts were sagging at their worst. My arms were somewhat saggy and since I was going to have one procedure I decided to get my arms done too. I was more insecure of how my breasts looked after my weight loss.
How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?
I have a 25 year old daughter and an 18 year old daugther and they were both okay with my decision. My best friend was very supportive and would say that I deserve to do something for myself. If a breast lift was what I wanted, then I should get it.

Can you describe your surgery and recovery?
I am still in recovery and it's going well. I did not experience much pain, I would say that there was more discomfort than pain.
What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?
My advice would be not to go with the first and only doctor you see. Consult a few plastic surgeons before you choose one and go according to your comfort.
How do you feel about your result?
I am still in recovery and I am very happy with my arms, the breasts take longer to recover but so far I am satisfied.
