Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.

I considered plastic surgery on my nose because it always bothered me. I was also getting married in 8 months. I had a small bump on my nose that I thought ruined my profile. I ultimately had plastic surgery because 1800mySurgeon made it so easy to coordinate. I researched a little myself but I trusted they would find a good surgeon which they did. I'm so happy I decided to do because I am much more confident and would recommend my surgeon and 1800mySurgeon to anyone.

How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?

A lot of the people I told understood that I'm doing it because it was something that always bothered me. I didn't feel judged by anyone and my family supported my decision and they still do.

How did 1800MySurgeon help you through the process of finding a qualified plastic surgeon?

I have been debating getting my nose done for years. One night I decided to research a little on the surgery and local plastic surgeons. I came across 1800mySurgeon in my research and decided to fill in my information because they found good surgeons who are board certified (which I found in my research was very important). 1800mySurgeon called me within hours, gave me their recommendation, and actually called the surgeon then and there for me to make a FREE consultation appointment. After the appointment, 1800mySurgeon called to follow up and see if I wanted to make an appointment with another surgeon which I didn't. I thought I never would have the surgery and I probably wouldn't have if it weren't for 1800mySurgeon. I'm so happy they helped coordinate my surgery. They found a great surgeon and I love the result.

Can you describe your surgery and recovery?

My rhinoplasty was fairly simple. I was put under at about 8am for about two hours, woke up very nauseous and returned home around lunchtime. They put a hard splint on my nose which was more like a cast. The nausea wore off by the end of the day. The rest of my recovery was just relaxing around the house. The pain wasn't bad as long as I stayed on the pain medication. I also had to stay on the nausea medicine for a while just in case. After a week I was ready to return to work. I still had to wear a couple bandages for another week but they blended fairly well.

What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?

I would recommend my surgeon and 1800mySurgeon. I would also tell someone that if it bothers them then get it done. They will be happy they did.

How do you feel about your result?

I love the result! I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to get it done. My nose looks great and I can't wait to pose for pictures and show it off at my upcoming wedding!
