Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.
I am a 5'5", 130lb female. I dance and exercise several times a week and still have a "belly". I decided it was now time to get rid of it as I have being carrying this around for far too long. I checked out a few doctors through friends and set off to find my doctor.
How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?
My close friends and family were very supportive and were all in favor of me having the procedure. They heard me talking about this for a few years already and were tired of me talking and not doing!
How did 1800MySurgeon help you through the process of finding a qualified plastic surgeon?
I had a couple of referrals myself and 1800mySurgeon gave me extra names of top plastic surgeons. 1800mySurgeon checked out the credentials on all of them and also checked for lawsuits.
Can you describe your surgery and recovery?
I had my surgery on Friday and rested up for the weekend - I followed my doctor's orders to the letter and took all required medications. I returned to my doctor on Monday in excellent shape with only one pain medication taken that morning. I have had no pain medication since then.
What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?
The best advice I can give is if you are having invasive surgery, only go to the best. Not only will the procedure be done correctly, your recovery time will be faster and post-op will be great
How do you feel about your result?
It's only 5 days and I am liking it already - still a little bloating and bruising which is to be expected. I can't wait for 6 weeks to go by - I bet my figure will be fabulous.
