Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.
I wanted my breasts to be perky so I chose the breast lift for myself. My husband wanted them a little bigger (of course) so I had implants for him. I tried diets and exercises but could not get my stomach flat, so I also chose a tummy tuck with liposuction.
How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?
I had talked about having a breast lift for years so it didn't come as a shock to them. Most were excited for me and some were jealous.

I communicated with Ileana from 1800mySurgeon about board-certified plastic surgeons and what to look for when choosing one. She was very helpful and if I had a different surgeon in mind, she would check that surgeon out for me. I was confident that 1800mySurgeon would give me good direction.
Can you describe your surgery and recovery?
I had an allergic reaction to the pain medicine that was given during my surgery and my caretaker was informed of the situation and how it was handled. The surgery took 4 hours and I was in bed resting comfortably in 5 hours. It has only been a week, but I feel great.
What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?
To be prepared to be bored during recovery. It is a slow process, even though I feel good, I get tired quickly. Get up and start walking around as soon as possible. It helps.
How do you feel about your result?
From what I can tell, I look great. I am still swollen and bruised. I was told that I will probably be swollen for 3 or 4 months.
